The difference between words: fun, funny and interesting

Hi All,
This morning I have three adjectives which are closely related but have different meanings in English.
These words are “fun”, Funny” and “interesting”

Ok, lets to start find the difference:
v  The word “fun” is used when we want to talk about enjoying ourselves or having a good time.
For example:
Ø  The party so much fun! We sang all night long.
Ø  The action movie was a lot of fun! I’d like to see again
Ø  I love going to Disneyland! It’s so much fun

v  The word “Funny” is used when something or someone make us laugh.
For example:
Ø  Tommy is funny guy. He always makes me laugh.
Ø  That joke wasn’t funny at all. No body laughed at it.
Ø  The new comedy with Mr’ bin is supposed to be really funny. Let’s go see it this weekend.

v  The word “interesting” is used when we want to talking about situation in which we learn something or are made to think about something.
For example:
Ø  I think going to museum is interesting, but my wife doesn’t agree with me.
Ø  The new drama in TV is sad but it is very interesting. It is about doctor who is suffering from cancer.
Ø  I’m reading about the history of china right now. It’s really interesting.
So this is how to use these words in English.  They are all adjectives.

v  But the word “fun” can also be a noun and is used with the verb “have”.
For example:
Ø  I have a lot of fun in the party.
Ø  My family and I had fun on our vacation to Hawaii.

Thanks and regards

Narupi (morning to evening)
